Welcome to the Fort Report
Good morning, Fort Lupton. Belen Ward here for another Fort Report. Hope you are all doing well.
I had the fun honor of attending Career Day at Butler Elementary, meeting with your kids and talking to them about their plans for the future.
I think the biggest kick I got out of was chatting with the kids and asking them what they wanted to do. So many great answers! Along with many future police officers, doctors, firefighters and nurses, the were future storm chasers and at least one YouTube star!
Now, I can use your help! If you see something you think I should write about, let me know! You can email me at [email protected].
Let’s get started!

🍎 Butler Elementary Brings Career Day to The Kids 👮♀ 👨🚒
Leopoldo Resendiz Anguiano and Johnny Hernandez completed a questionnaire with questions about their dream jobs with the Fort Lupton Police Department. Leopoldo said he wants to be a tornado chaser when he grows up, and Johnny Hernandez wants to be a police officer.
Kids had big dreams on Career Day, visiting with many professionals in their different fields. This is brand new program, but they plan to do it again. If you are a Fort Lupton professional, you should come out to the school and see if they can use you next year!
